Just making up this life as I go along.

9 years of travel. I've been on the road more or less full-time since 2014. A lot has changed since then! I used to have a huge bio written here, but it feels a little out-of-date now.

I'm a writer and photographer with a thriving coffee dependency. Recently, I've come to the realisation that I mostly travel to drink coffee and read my book in new and shiny locations. I love the slow and laidback days, especially when they contrast with the frenetic and chaotic ones. My favourite sunrises and sunsets are spent in the mountains, although I'm happy in the jungle, desert, or sitting oceanside in the tropics. I got serious about hiking in 2020- and photographing the outdoors (and people in them) is what I like to do best.

Ovo-vegetarian. Basically vegan, just with eggs added.

I joined CS in 2014, when I first started travelling. Since then, I've stayed with dozens and dozens of amazing and generous people. They opened their doors, the world opened up in turn. I'm endlessly grateful for the connections, the memories, the conversations, and the experiences that this platform (and this community) have granted me. So that's why I'm still here!

I'm an easy-going guest, perfectly happy to share a cup of tea (or coffee) over friendly conversation. Although I enjoy traipsing through the world with someone who knows the area, I really don't need a tour guide at this point in my travelling life. I'm happy just to chat!
