About Me

Hi! I'm 25 and I live in Denver where I've surprised myself by falling in love with the outdoors. The Rockies will do that to you! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an experience like no other I've had. I've met the weirdest, most wonderful, most generous people with the best energy. The people I meet always teach me something, whether it be about the world or myself. I love Couchsurfing!

Interests

I really love being in nature, so hikes and strolls in pretty places are always top of the list. I enjoy the exciting events, food and experiences that cities have to offer but I usually try to get a day in nature when I'm visiting somewhere. It keeps me sane and grateful. There's nothing like that deep feeling of joy you feel when you see something naturally beautiful for the first time.

I enjoy chatting with people and learning about them and their ideas. Chatting about philosophy is always good, especially with people who can teach me more about it. I love to sing and watch/experience live music. When I'm in a new place, I like to spend an entire day just walking around without a plan. Just walking and feeling the city and watching the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'be been getting back into reading this year after quite a few years of being ruined by the instant gratification of social media! I'm currently reading The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende. I'm always open to reading suggestions.

I like movies that contain paradoxical tones, like The Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Comedies about dark topics have been my go-to recently. I've also been discovering how much I enjoy Irish produced films.
