ABOUT ME
I'm currently in my final year of uni, counting down the days until I can go travelling again. I have itchy feet. I spend most of my time avoiding the things I need to do and enjoying the things I don't. New found love for rock climbing. I'd say I'm an outdoorsy person, I weirdly like the cold.
I love meeting new people and learning from them, I feel it makes the world smaller.
PHILOSOPHY
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" Lewis Carroll
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to couchsurfing but I've heard great things. I really want to meet people in my area before I head off into the great unknown when I graduate.
I would love to give back and host people when I am in a position to in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all music, really. From Guns n' Roses (big fan) to Hanson (not ashamed) with a little bit of Mumford & Sons, Two Door Cinema Club(keeping it local) and Jay-Z for good measure.
I'm willing to watch any movie (with the exception of Paranormal Activity). I like the ones which make me think so much I have to watch them twice. (Black Swan - third time was not a charm, I still don't get it.)
I'm a sucker for RomComs, RomDrams, Roms.
Period Dramas are great. Comedy is always a winner.
I love the books that make me think also, true stories, autobiographical fiction, classics.
I have a pet peeve of movie adaptions of books. Love them, but they just don't always get it right. 'The Help', however was fantastic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to a Buddhist temple in Koyasan at 5am, an incredibly moving experience.
Being face to face with a deer on a foggy night in Indiana. (This is not romanticised, we were both a little spooked.)
