About Me

Hi, I’m Aissata and I really don’t know what to write about myself.
I’m a friendly (most of the time) and chaotic German girl, who has 26 career plans. So better don’t start asking what I want to study.
I’m volunteering this year in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Hola, me llamo Aissata y de verdad no se que escribir acerca de mí.
Soy una alemana amable (la mayoría de los veces) y caótica y tengo 26 ideas para mi futuro. Mejor no me preguntes qué quiero estudiar.
Por el momento soy voluntaria en Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I had some very nice and interesting people staying in my home in Santa Cruz due to my roommate and I would like to meet more of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Alt-J and I looove French indie pop. But like every mainstream Volunteer I listen to almost everything.
I don’t have a favorite movie but two I really like are “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and “Trainspotting”.
At the moment I’m reading “two years, eight months and twenty two nights” by Salman Rushdie and “the odyssey” (wich I’m never going to finish as i find it boring as hell)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I have two talents:

1. I’m always late when the bus is late so in the end I’m early. A very useful talent when traveling.

2. Hurting myself by doing normal or unnecessary stuff. One of the most incredible things I did was breaking my elbow by jumping over a hammock in Columbia. Yayyy.

Teach, Learn, Share

From me you can learn how to bake a real Apfelstreuselkuchen and other cakes with random ingredients you find in your kitchen.

I would really like to learn how to not avoid panicking and stressing while traveling or how to orientate yourself at foreign markets.
And I’m always interested in new recipes.

I can share time and laughter and my favorite places in the city I live in.
