About Me
- not hosting at the moment - busy while moving to Portugal! -
My name sounds a lot like refreshing cold drink - "ice tea". I am Lithuanian and it's a traditional name here.
Been in university for four years, gained bachelor's degree in psychology, yay! Took a gap year before master's degree in child psychology and went travelling across Europe *ongoing*. I have been working/volunteering with children a lot. They are great, really! I am certain that children are the best people in the world.
Well, actually, I am kind of a weird person:
Always smiling;
Loudly speaking;
Never has "nothing to do".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing convinced me that people are amazing. People are so hospitable and open hearted despite their nationality. I love people, really.
Interests
Generally, I like things. Many of them.
I do film photography - I like testing different types of antique cameras.
I've been dancing lindy hop for some time and I still remember those 'rock step - tripple step' rhythms pretty well.
I like languages, oh, I like them a lot. I'm striving to learn at least 7 different languages and I know 5 of them (more or less, hahaha) so far.
Coffee, yes, please. I've been working as a barista for some time and I know what a good espresso is.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, yes.
Oldies: The Beatles, The Smiths, Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, The Doors. Recently fell in love with Brazilian music (Antonio Carlos Jobim, João Gilbert, Caetano Veloso).
Newies: Mac DeMarco, Tame Impala, Alt-J. Also, been into experimetal electronic lately.
Music is an important part of my life and I'm aaalways open to explore new waters.
Books.
I enjoy reading in general, but I guess philosophy entertains me most. Søren Kierkegaard is my favourite philosopher.
Movies.
I'm into independent cinema.
Balcony by Giedrė Beinoriūtė.
The Seventh Continent by Michael Haneke.
Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Andersen (not so independent I guess?).
