About Me

I'm a professor at Vilnius University, where I teach courses on artificial intelligence. I enjoy creating things on my own, engaging in DIY projects. I love staying active and have a particular passion for skiing, snowboarding, and cycling. I'm also deeply interested in electronics and frequently work on projects involving laser cutters and 3D printers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people, immersing myself in their cultures and ways of life. Couchsurfing provides the perfect platform to connect with locals, who I firmly believe offer the best advice when visiting a country. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to gain authentic experiences, learn from the diverse perspectives of hosts, and build meaningful connections around the world. By staying with locals, I can delve deeper into the places I visit, making my travels more enriching and memorable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year, I embarked on an unforgettable adventure, traveling from Malaga, Spain, to Conakry, Guinea, along with my two friends and a four-wheel-drive car. We navigated the Atlantic coast, passing through Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, and Guinea. It was an entirely new and unique experience, crossing deserts and visiting small towns and oases. We discovered and immersed ourselves in diverse cultures, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach computer science and have extensive experience working with artificial intelligence. I can explain various concepts in these fields and share my knowledge.
I am currently learning French and would love to practice and improve my skills.
I can share stories and experiences from my travels, especially my latest and most fascinating journey through West Africa with my friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, including traditions, customs, and everyday life from my homeland. I have many experiences from traveling through different countries and immersing myself in their cultures. I also have countless stories from my adventures and encounters with people from all walks of life. Whether it's tales from crossing deserts, exploring small towns, or learning from locals, I'm excited to share these stories and create new memories together.
