I am Indonesian living in the center of Jakarta. I love travelling and do it pretty often around Indonesia. I love to explore new places, especially in the nature. I go mountain hiking and go to beautiful beaches around indonesia. I also love to explore underwater beauty and do snorkeling and scuba diving (Raja Ampat is my favorite place).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love a chance to meet new people and learn new culture. I'd love to hear your story about the place you lived and the place you visited, it opened my horizon and make me feel like I've been there too. I desired to go explore the world one day, to travel to learn new cultures and learn from people I met.

I also would love to help if you don't know where to go or prefer meeting local people to learn about how Indonesian live and if you want to know more about local destination that is not a famous place for tourist. Because if I travel around the world one day, I would love to stay with locals too to learn about their culture.

I also love the opportunity to bring together my husband to met new people around the globe, because he travel less often and have smaller chance to see the beauty of differences. I hope it also boost his convidence to talk in english as he is currently learning english. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE movie, any kind of movie; cartoon, action, horror, thriller, sci-fi and else. I love to go for movie marathon in the cinema with my mom. But a few remarkable movie I loved is 12 Year A Slave, Perfume, Saving Private Ryan, American Sniper, Inside Out, Dear John, oh it is too many !!

I love fictional/ sci-fi novel to read. The series of novel I love the most is the serries of Hannibal.

And I am open to music genre, whatever. But I listened to indie/ pop most of the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many beautiful and amazing things in my life and I am so blessed for this life I got. But if I have to choose any, diving in Raja Ampat with my husband it is. It is a true beauty, breathtaking. Going down around 25m deep under sea level is like entering the whole new world. There is so many beauty that it even hard to decide where to look. The color of the corals is amazing, and the fishes and the magnificent giant oceanic manta ray.

I only been travelling around indonesia so that is all I could share, I can share travel advice if you want to explore indonesia. But I would also love to talk about other, anything, gender equality, human right, feminism, religion, I'd just love to opern my horizon.

I can share to you my place during weekend, and we can arrange time to meet just for casual talk or if you need any information/ local advise to explore indonesia. During my free time, I can take you exploring jakarta to get the experience you are looking fo; city tour, going to monumens, going to museums, tasting street foods, going to local shop, going to famous shopping center, going to amusement park, or even looking for kids friendly place to visit !
