Hey there! A newbie in Couchsurfing here.

I'm a 24-year-old Ecuadorian whose most thrilling adventure to date is undoubtedly my exchange year in Grenoble, near the French Alps, almost two years ago.
Needless to say, traveling became my greatest passion after arriving in Europe (considering I had barely ventured outside my hometown, Quito, before that).

*Update: Back in Quito now, and sadly, my passport is feeling neglected (😭). Maybe it's time for it to earn some more stamps!

I can’t explain how much I have been enjoying meeting new people from other parts of this beautiful world we live in. So many shared laughs, food, culture, and so on. I feel this has enriched me with a whole new perspective of life, with such an open mindset. This makes me grateful, specially regarding the principles of reciprocity: giving away my personal experiences and receiving the same in exchange. Simply amazing.

I have travelled to quite a few countries now in the practically short time that I have had. But now I truly seek an immersive experience with local people, as there is no greater truth that traveling is less about the place and more about the people you spend it with.

I’m an adventurous person, always up for anything that comes. And once I go back to my country, nothing would make me more happy than to open the door of my house and my heart to fellow travelers.
