Overview
About Me
I did an Erasmus year in Jyväskylä, Finland, although I usually study in Salamanca, Spain. My home town is near Bilbao, in the Basque Country, and I lived there until I was 18. I've been playing football since I was 5, and now have started also playing Gaelic Football. However, I like all kind of sports, as well as going out with friends or people in general.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion, the best way to get to know a place is through locals, those who really know the city on its everyday life. That's why I like both hosting (showing my place) and being hosted (having the local experience of the city).
Interests
- eating
- going out
- talking
- listening to music
- sharing stories
- playing football
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Hip Hop, Rock, Indie... there isn't a kind of music I cannot listen to.
Sons of Anarchy, Memento, V for Vendetta... but above all Shameless
I like to read some Basque literature in order not to lose my fluency on it
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Winning the Finnish Gaelic Football championship with Jyväskylä GAA during my Erasmus
Apart from that nothing especial but have lots of anecdotes (most of them funny) in different places, and usually happened after midnight hahaha
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show about the Basque culture, our ancient language and our awesome gastronomy. I also like talking about any topic, learning new languages as well as just going out to take a coffee/beer and walk. Although I'm not graduated yet I can share some knowledge about Psychology, its myths, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Although cooking is not my best quality, I know some typical recipes from my country and can share them. As said, all memories, experiences, tips, etc. that come to my mind will be with great pleasure shared.
