Overview
About Me
I joined CS one year ago and during this year I have hosted ~ 70 guest from 26 countries, but until October I will travel in South America and I can’t host guests.
I am professor of sociology. I have three child's (two daughters: the oldest have MA in communication science, but the youngest BA in dramaturgy). Both have published books with their fiction stories. My son received MA (logistic) in Rotterdam University (with Cum Laude) and after one year internship in a shipping logistic start-up company in San-Francisco he will continue work in this company’s branch in Amsterdam. At moment my wife by largest part is folk and choir singer (she finished five year program of philosophy with Cum Laude at University of Latvia). My family is the little bit crazy company but my dad and my grandfathers were even crazier. At moment I am single.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have visited ~ 48 countries, but the most amazing thing I’ve done was white water rafting expeditions (in 70 & 80s I directed 1 to 5 class rafting trips in Central Europe, Caucasus, Siberia, Central Asia, etc., was member of National white water rafting team); took hitchhiking trips in Soviet Union (~5000 km); two years was in Soviet army (last year as a sergeant). In my youth I was arrested several times (in Georgia, Russia, Estonia, and Latvia), but not sentenced. In recent years, I only occasionally enjoy downhill skiing.
