About Me
Hi there! I am Aixa, from Argentina and the world ♥ I am 29 years old every one of them lived to the fullest! :) I love experiencing new cultures and getting to know new places and their people. I am a passionate traveler, and I always find ways of taking “breaks” from my job and routine. I am currently living in Switzerland (Zurich) as an au pair (nanny). This is my second time as traveling/working as au pair. My first time was when I was 20 years old in San Francisco, California.
I have been very lucky to visit many beautiful places in the world, but I can’t have enough of it, I always want more! I have a curious mind and I am always trying to learn new things and I believe traveling plus meeting people is one of the best ways to learn.
I am very respectful with houses, I leave everything as I found it or even cleaner! I like keeping a clean and enjoyable environment. I do it as a sitter (you can read my trusted housitter’s reviews here: https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/house-and-pet-sitters/argentina/buenos-aires/mar-del-plata/l/749861/ ), as an au pair, and as a traveler (you can also check my Airbnb's reviews here: https://www.airbnb.es/users/show/163500979 and also my boyfriend’s reviews here: https://www.airbnb.es/users/show/19365441
Sometimes I travel with my boyfriend, If that's the case, I will let the hosts know. We are very reliable and caring people. We love traveling and experiencing new cultures from within, living as locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all, I love the idea of joining a community of travelers helping each other! In this way, I get to spend some time in a beautiful city, having amazing local experiences and with great company. I believe that in order to really get to know a place you have to know its people.
Traveling is not just about filling your passport with stamps (old school, right? With all the machines they have right now!) but about getting to know its culture and that can only be done by talking to people, trying local food, getting lost in a normal neighborhood, taking all the public means of transportation available and being open to whatever the place has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m very open minded as regards everything and music is not an exception... but I mainly listen to classic rock / pop in general (The Beatles, Rolling stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, etc) Argentina’s national rock and some modern pop.
I am a big movie and TV show fan! But for sure my favorite kind of movie is the one that makes you google afterwards, that makes you think about many different stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It’s not just one thing I’ve done but the many little things that allow me to do amazing things :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an English teacher back at home and I am also a pastry chef (amateur). I love sharing what I know. I believe that we are constantly learning and if I can be of help for somebody to learn something new, I feel happy :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my culture, language and food! Cooking for other people makes me happy, so I would love to cook for my hosts!
Of course I can also share my time, good conversations, funny stories, big laughs and a sympathetic ear!
