Overview
About Me
I'm studying electrical engineering at the University of Idaho, and I love being outdoors. I specifically love hiking, rock climbing, running, and swimming, but I'll settle for anything under the sun. When I have free time, I love to read. I love traveling and meeting new people more than almost anything. I want to know every place on this earth, and meet people from everywhere. I love when people talk about things they are passionate about.
I love to try new things, and my bucket list seems to never end. Each time I can cross something off of it, there are five new things to put down. I'll try anything twice. I also have a hobby of drinking beer and discussing philosophy, although those things are not mutually exclusive.
Somebody once told me you can't wait until you're 65 and retired to go hike Machu Picchu, and that the time is now. I've taken that rather seriously and hunt down every opportunity to travel I can find. I haven't made it to Peru yet, but I'm simply taking the long way around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people is my favorite part of traveling. My second favorite part is being able to see a country from a local perspective. Couch surfing puts both of these things together for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach American slang, pop culture, and music. I can help with any math or science course for the most part. I have a passion for art and all things outdoors. I read a lot of literature and can share recommendations, and would love to get a recommendation or two as well. I can also cook some pretty killer Mexican food. I would love to learn anything that can be taught to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you with your math homework, lend an ear for any type of dilemma, and I'm always ready to have a philosophical discussion. I also love to have a laugh and will be down for almost anything. I can probably take you hiking, or rock climbing, and if you ever venture into my neck of the woods, you will always have a place to stay. I can accommodate almost any request. I can be back early, I can be silent, or I can go with you to a bar. I am flexible on dates, times, and most other things, just ask. :)
