A little about me: I'm a fun-seeking, laughter-inducing, broad-minded queer twenty-something. I love to travel, meet new people, and open myself to new experiences. I have a penchant for learning languages and interacting with new cultures, and I think couch-surfing is a great way to feed that curiosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to host people in my own home and love to show people a city they might not know very well. Couch-surfing is a fantastic way to meet new people and exchange new ideas/experiences, and a wonderful chance to learn from others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although a bit trite, and even though I do not consider myself to be a Catholic any longer, visiting the Vatican and receiving Eucharist was probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I made a pilgrimage to Israel and Italy a year after my mother passed away, and it was just the sort of reflective experience I needed. Never before has a religious building´s interior made me cry, but it definitely did the trick!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am currently teaching English at the moment, so I would be more than happy to impart any of my knowledge on the language, as well as any of the others I speak! I also play the flute and consider myself to be fairly musical, although I´ve never given lessons....I can also cook a variety of meals and sharing/exchanging recipes is something I love to do! I also love to share my knowledge of art with others and to have socratic dialogue on a number of subjects.

I can share my fun personality, an aptitude for enjoying life, and laughter. I have a lot of experience about Latin America, Madrid, art history, museology, museums, and random bits of knowledge!
