ABOUT ME

CURRENTLY on a 3 month backpack around Asia!

LOVE playing hockey.

I'm pretty outgoing, (except for heights, they don't treat me too well), open-minded, love meeting new people. I graduated from University of Alberta in 2008 and now I've started a cycle of working, saving and then traveling. In 2009 I traveled to 9 countries in South America over 3.5 months. I would totally recommend SA to anyone! In 2010 I traveled 3.5 months in Europe.

I still live at home so its difficult to really offer my parents couch out, but definitely down for a coffee.
The friend I surfed with in Syros came to surf with me in 2011.

Interessi

I enjoy learning new things and experiencing new cultures. Traveling is my favorite way to spend my time. I want to see the whole world, but that could take a while.

Musica, film e libri

I watch, listen to and read a pretty broad spectrum of genres. Up for almost anything. I love experiencing new cultural music! And I'm always down for a movie. I love reading (as long as it's in English, it would be way too frustrating otherwise). If you've made it this far through my profile and want to send me a request, please include a band from your home country that you would like to introduce me to. When I travel I love being introduced to local everything, so maybe I can do the same for you.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

My South American travels were amazing! I visited Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. I saw Iquacu falls, sandboarded in the Atacama desert for my 23rd bday and made the trek up to Machu Picchu. (just some of the highlights)

I went to the Dominican Republic in summer '05 to volunteer with habitat for humanity, that was an eye-opening experience.
