Chi sono
I’ve always loved traveling—meeting new people, soaking up different cultures, and having every day feel different. After years of trying to squeeze travel into my annual leave while working full-time, my partner and I have decided to take a proper break to explore the world again.
I’m originally from Sydney and have also lived in Melbourne, London, and Belfast, so I’ve had a bit of a mix of city life. Right now, we’re just enjoying the freedom of travel and looking to meet some great people along the way.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
We’re not looking for a place to stay, but Couchsurfing has always been more about the people than the accommodation for me. I’ve loved meeting locals, going to Couchsurfing meet-ups, and really getting to know the culture of a place through the people who live there.
I can be a little quiet at first, but once I’m comfortable, I really enjoy good conversation and shared experiences. Couchsurfing pushes me to connect with people, and it’s always worth it
Interessi
Travel, adventure, animals, learning new things, and music. I get bored easily if things get too repetitive, so I’m always looking for new challenges and experiences. I also love nature and hiking—nothing beats getting out into the fresh air after spending too much time in cities!
I’ve tried learning Spanish a few times but never quite made it. Still, I’m super impressed by people who speak more than one language!

Musica, film e libri
Pretty eclectic taste, to be honest—what I’m into changes depending on the mood or where I am. One of my favorite things is finding an English book at a hostel and seeing where that takes me.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Too many to pick just one! Some standouts would be seeing Angkor Wat at sunrise, traveling overland from Northern Ireland to Southeast Asia without flying, and exploring the Sahara Desert. I’ve also had some pretty powerful experiences visiting genocide museums in Cambodia, Bosnia, and Germany—not exactly “amazing” in the usual sense, but definitely unforgettable.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I think travel is best when you mix a bit of planning with a lot of flexibility and spontaneity—you never know what amazing experience is around the corner. I’m always up for learning from others, sharing travel stories, and swapping tips.
