I love travelling - being free, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures... Having each day be different from the last.

After years of fitting travel into my annual leave time while working as a full time Customer Service Manager, I'm currently trying to start an online business that will allow me to be location independent and work, live travel anywhere anytime.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I've used CouchSurfing while travelling for places to stay, but also to meet people at CouchSurfing events and loved the experience - meeting locals and really experiencing the country/city you're in.

I like CouchSurfing to meet locals and really experience the country and culture in a way you can't without meeting the locals!

I can be a bit quiet and shy to start with - but soon come out of my shell and enjoy spending time with people. CouchSurfing helps me to meet people, and force me to make new connections - which I always end up enjoying!

I need to be challenged and learning all the time - once life starts to become repetitive and normal I tend to get bored then pack up and go travelling and settle somewhere else for a while.

I'd love to learn a language, very jealous of people who have grown up bilingual!
I've started learning Spanish a few times, but never get very far.

Just one thing?

Seeing genocide museums in Germany, Cambodia and Bosnia were certainly amazing experiences. Not exactly positive places though.

Angkor Wat and visiting an orphanage in Cambodia and watching sunset on sand dunes in the Sahara Desert in Morocco would certainly be highlights of my life.

Travelling from Northern Ireland to South East Asia without flying - ferry, bus & train.

Meeting people while CouchSurfing - going on an unexpected road trip with a host in Scotland.
