ABOUT ME

I love to travel, meet new people and have new experiences so I can gather a great collection of memories.
I grew up in Wales on a smallholding with 3 sisters, lots of sheep, chickens and plenty of wildlife.
I went to college for countryside management where I got to get my hands dirty and learn at the same time.
After leaving I have been traveling and working, sometimes at the same time.
I love doing practical things, I hate sitting in an office, I LOVE a changing scenery which keeps me on the move.

Couch surfing for me is another fantastic way to gain new experiences and meet cool people.

PHILOSOPHY

In the end, all you have is your memories and it's up to you now to make them.

Spreading the word - when i get a couch i will definitely be lending it to fellow travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed once so far (Port Angeles. WA) It was a really good experience.
I also connected with a rideshare from Chicago to New Orleans through the couchsurfing facebook page which was also a great success!

兴趣

Travel! and the environment, reading, singing, hiking, good food, coffee, adventures off the beaten track, meeting new people, playing music...most recently i've been having a go at the ukulele.

音乐、电影和书籍

Like most types of music but love Bluegrass and old time rock and roll. I love books, you'll never see me without a book (this is probably mainly because my parents own a book store) and it can be anything Tolkien to Kafka. Love them all....mostly, but I do love fantasy fiction waaaay too much.
not a big T.V watcher but have liked Monty python, Black books, Spaced... Films I like V for Vendetta, Monty python, 28 days later...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

So far I would say my experience of travelling in Syria, Jordan and Egypt and meeting the people, seeing the culture was truly amazing. It really opened my eyes to the possibilities in travel.
After that working in the desert for conservation, and meeting all the wonderful people who were doing the same.

I can juggle... I'm pretty good at cooking. I'm learning the Ukulele though I'm not currently travelling with mine.
I'm always interested in sustainability and alternative lifestyles.
