to learn to live life the way it is best lived: with openness, adventure, awareness, perspective, and joy. buy some land, buld a passive solar cabin with attached greenhouse, plant an orchard and garden, get expenses down to $100 a month (if that!)

ABOUT ME

we are open minded. i've grown up around all sorts of people in the bay area, so no problemo. don't judge me, i won't judge you. i don't care if you're an illegal immigrant. i do not smoke, ben does (outside). we drink delicious libations. not too much drug taking around these parts, but many of our friends are 420. i keep a clean house, but am not psycho-cleaning-nazi-lady. ben has an early schedule, so is not much of a late night party animal, my schedule is a bit more malleable to the given circumstance. i do have days off to show people around, but not weds or fri. we are not vegetarians, but mostly eat seafood for our meaty needs.

PHILOSOPHY

my philosophy is ever evolving as is my life. but above all, i'd like to always remember and appreciate the simple sweetness of life. it's so easy to forget, but it's all around us all the time.

ben: reading, traveling, music, movies and documentaries, camping, arguing with me, he has a sailboat but is dragging his feet with the fixing up of said sailboat (just saying...), hmmm... i'm sure there's much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

ben's into alot of radical literature, but we both like lotr, bukowski, abbey, steinbeck, vonnegut... i love jane austen, paulo coehlo, etc, etc

music: me: radiohead, my morning jacket, yeah yeah yeahs, cold war kids, old school soul, classical, hip hop (i'm a product of the 90's when it comes to rap), i love music. all kinds and sorts. kings of leon's first three albums; pre-overproduction. i can still enjoy their last two albums, i'm just not quite so thrilled about them in comparison to their earlier work which i feel is inspired.

ben likes alot of the same stuff, but knows more classic rock and old blues than i do. plus, he's on the irish punk bus. i'm assuming it's irish punk...
