About Me

I’m a fun, respectful, nice guy that loves good food, drinks, and hip hop 😊

I was born in New York City, and lived most of my life in NYC, San Francisco, and Indiana.

My background is in technology (product management / angel investment) and I can mostly work remotely, so I’m setting up a few properties in my favorite countries in Asia, and can hopefully host people soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m not looking for free accommodation on CS, but looking to make friends with kind people and learn more about their culture.

I do consider it an honor to be invited into someone’s home though, whether for dinner or to stay. So if you do invite me, I might insist on bringing you something and/or treating you drinks or dinner :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love great artistic media—whether it’s film, music, books, tv, anime, etc. It's overwhelming to pick favorites, but some musical artists I love are: Kanye West (before he went crazy), Radiohead, The Beatles, Nujabes, Sublime, and so many more. I can share my anime list if you’re interested ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been involved with building schools in Vietnam and Cambodia, and do what I can independently for schools and children in need. Would love to collaborate with anyone doing good work in the world, particularly in the areas of education, poverty, and technical development.

I am also very handy and love fixing things—so let me know if there’s anything you need help with :)

I speak a bit of Spanish, Vietnamese, Khmer, and Japanese, and am trying to learn more. I’d be happy to practice or help you with English—and would love to play tennis or other sports together
