About Me
ABOUT ME
I recently moved to Portland, Ore., with my fiance, Toby, so I could attend Lewis & Clark Law School. I've spent the past six years in a newsroom, and I am greatly looking forward to the stresses and adventures ahead. Recognizing the time constraints that may arise, I also look forward to hosting even if I'm not able to spend a ton of time at home. Portland is a city I've admired for years, and I'm anxious to share it with travelers of all types.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We host, we surf; therefore we are.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I've had multiple awesome experiences in Costa Rica, Seattle and St. Louis with fellow couchsurfers. We've hosted a few times and my enthusiasm about this project continues to grow.
Interests
I can kill an entire month exploring new music. And there's nothing like getting completely immersed in a good book. But I'm not gonna lie -- I've spent my fair share of evenings trying to increase my Wii bowling score, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving into the ocean and coming 20 feet from a humpback whale before it hit me: Dude, those things are huge.
Surviving a five-day motorcycle trip (complete with language barriers, wrong turns, potholes, traffic anarchy, and close calls with wandering bovine) with my boyfriend through Costa Rica.
Finding true love.
Snorkeling in the morning, reaching the summit of Mauna Kea (14,000 feet) in the evening.
