Overview
About Me
We are three Australian girls who will be travelling around the world together commencing in January 2016, for an undecided length of time.
Alyssa-Jane, prefers to be called AJ (22 years old): I have been working in hospitality as a waitress/barista/cook for 4.5 years and previously worked in retail. I'm a vegetarian who doesn't force my views on anyone else and can cook meat for others.
Bianca (25 years old): I'm currently a full time Pharmacy Assistant & volunteer at the RSPCA (shelter for domestic animals) on weekends. I'm a vegetarian who doesn't force my views on anyone else and can cook meat for others.
Georgia (24 years old): I am a Registered Nurse who lives on a farm (on a river) with my family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We would like the opportunity to experience and immerse ourselves in different cultures and meet new people along the way.
Interests
AJ:
I love listening to music, going for bush walks, meeting new people, exploring new areas and travelling.
Bianca:
I'm an animal lover, into photography and loves exploring the outdoors, keeping fit & travelling.
Georgia:
I love waterskiing, bushwalking, trapezing and generally being very active. I am currently learning Spanish.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
AJ:
Travelled to America by myself for 3 weeks to do a Contiki Tour. I ended up also travelling to Oklahoma after the tour to go to a music festival (Warped Tour). It was a great experience and I made many memories and met a lot of amazing people.
Bianca:
I went on my first solo overseas trip at the beginning of 2015. I travelled to Africa and volunteered for a month in a monkey rehabilitation sanctuary then went on a two week tour through East Africa.
Georgia:
I spent one year in the Australian Navy. I did 4 months of basic training and then 7 months on a ship, 4 of those months were spent sailing around South East Asia learning about different trades within the Navy and exploring South East Asia when we were in port. That year showed me my physical and mental limits were so much further than where I set them, it also gave me confidence and a craving to see the world.
