Hi! Nice to have you here :)

I'm Zsofi from Hungary, but I live in The Netherlands currently. I graduated from University 2 years ago (I'm 29 year old though) as a film director. Now I'm working on my first feature length documentary, which is part of a world around tour. Together with my boyfriend (Adam, who is a 32 year old also hungarian social worker and who you can see on the pictures), starting from Budapest in May, 2017, we will start our journey towards east (Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia first, then take the Transsiberian Railway to Mongolia from where we fly to Nepal, visit India, Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia, after reach Australia and New Zealand where we'd like to work and figure out the rest of the journey through South-America and Africa).

During our travel we'll make a Youtube channel about traveling and a documentary about the elderly of the world.

We travel because we believe that seeing amazing places and connecting with people from all cultures makes us more open minded and we're very enthusiastic about getting to know you all! :)

We wish to find hosts who can host us together, but we can cuddle up in very tight spaces :) We are good company, interested in you, your culture, your city, we can talk a lot about social issues, arts and films, our travel and we can promise that we'll send you a postcard from a country you wish to have one, as well as cooking a nice meal! (We don't eat meat but put our love in the food instead :) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think in today's world when we hear a lot about different conflicts emerging, it's extremely important to present 'the other side' where people connect, share and care about each other. I believe that Couchsurfing is a great opportunity not only to get to know very interesting people, but to get something from a city or country, what you couldn't make out of sitting in a hotel room alone.
I also believe, that traveling is for everyone and money shouldn't be a problem when you'd like to see the world. We can share to each other what we have, so why not do it and have a great adventure beside?

Music, Movies, and Books

I like quite a lot styles in music, my preference is the good quality. My favorites come from all different styles, such as Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, AC/DC, Mozart, Indian folk music and today's chill and jazzy electro vibes.
My ultimate favorite movie is an old classic, La Strada, from Federico Fellini, a great Italian director.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been a volunteer in Malawi, Africa for half year, teaching English to kids between 4-6. It was wonderful and magical.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge about filming and photography and Adam can share his about web design and have long conversations about social systems and philosophy. We can also teach hungarian if that's your thing :)

We'd like to learn a few words in your language, also if you could help us find a good character for our movie (a 65+ man or woman who could talk to us about his/her life) we'd be very happy and also give you a credit in the film!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides the things above, I can cook you a nice vegetarian meal. :)
