HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to share stories and global experiences. I've been a Couchsurfing host and also a traveler seeking rest on someone else's couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2007 I was in Austria, staying in a castle, during an arts conference. I met all kinds of artists from all over Europe. The following year, I traveled and stayed in a bedroom of a new friend from Bath, England and then went on to Edinburgh, Scotland and stayed on a mattress on the floor of another friend, both of whom I'd met the previous year at the conference. It was magical!

After that, I offered my home to guests and met some incredibly interesting people while they explored and journeyed. Additionally, I kept on couchsurfing around the USA.

Eventually, I sold my house and moved abroad for two years. In 2015 I moved back to the USA as I needed rest from my travels. I'm now rested up and am getting the itch to explore internationally again, but in the meantime, I want to offer my couch to others who are finding their way.

The most amazing thing I ever did was to reach full term pregnancy and deliver a beautiful, healthy daughter, who is now married and living an exciting life of her own!
