I am a dreamer... I am constantly trying to understand the world around me and probably have a totally utopian image of how everything should work on this planet. I believe that people can be nice to one another withou any obvious or selfish reasons.
I am a nature person, always prefer to be out in the mountains, ocean, fields etc.then in big cities...

I have just turned 25. and I am currently studying a master degree in Oceanography on Canary Islands. Besides nature, I like all kinds of sports (horse riding is my favourite one). I like to be active in general, I never want to stop learning new things (I also like to learn new languages!)
Besides many other things a like to travel - observe and learn on the way...
But to be honest mostly I don't seek noisy city life and parties...
To relax at the end of a day I prefer to sit around a burning fire underneath the stars with nice people and some music instruments ;) But I am flexible and always try to adapt to the situation and people around me, I hate bothering other people with my presence...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently trying to find my way and what kind of life I actually want to live - I think that travelling (working, volunteering abroad, meeting new people and living other life-styles) is a great way how to get out one´s "bubble" and discover... everything and anything. I think I used to be quite "close minded" and I am trying to change it... The idea of couchsurfing caught my attention few years ago, but so far I haven't actively participated in it! Who is going to be my first host...?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

International Space Camp in Alabama, USA in 2009 was a very uniquie experience ***
Hitch-hiked with my friends through south Norway, moving between natural parks and then hiking and camping in the mountains (1200km by 27 different cars in 2 weeks)***
5 months of university practical training in the Oceanografic aquarium in Valencia, Spain (largest aquarium in Europe)***
Rode a horse bare-back in the beautiful Drakensberg surroundings***
Road-trip in South Africa from Drakensberg to Sodwana Bay and then along the cost all the way to Cape Town, seeing amazing things on the way, beautiful nature, hiked to Tugela waterfalls (second highest in the world), dived with oceanic black tip sharks in the open ocean...***

Teach, Learn, Share

LEARN:

I think there is a loooot to learn all the time and I am always willing to learn new abilities! Basically anything...***
I would like to learn more about photography (it is my hobby, but would be great to get more "pro"), the same with videos - making and editing***
More languages, more more more... I was studying german for several years, would be nice to get some practise. I also started mandarine chinesse last year, but I am afraid our conversation would be very short if we had to speak the language :)***
Any sport I could get better in (or learn a new one)... football, rock-climbing, free-diving, horse riding (I used to do show jumping, but I am also interested in natural horsemanship techniquies and animal training in general).
I would love to learn how to surf!***
I would also use some baking or cooking skills and ideas :-)***
Generally I will be glad to listen to your experience from you travels or studies and work (- especially if you work with animals, as a scientist, zoologist, biologist, astronaut, astronomer, artist, oceanographer, photographer or film-maker or anything else - just a traveller searching for himself :)).
I would like to learn to be a better person, more open, peaceful and motivating for others, find out where I could be useful, what to dedicate myself into in the future...

TEACH and SHARE
I am not sure if I am a good teacher as I feel I still have a lot more to learn than to teach... But if you want I can teach you some basic guitar or piano playing for instance (if you have a guitar or a piaon), horse riding (if you have a horse ;-)), I speak also fluent spanish (I studied in Spain) so if you are learning spanish you can practise with me (or Czech for that matter, but I don't think so, who would be learning czech :D)...
I like to be creative, so I wouldn't mind beeing involved in any art project etc..

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences from life, studies, work, travelles ...
I like to share a smile, good laugh and conversation about anything with diferent people - preferebly over some other activity, like sport, a walk, hike or just cooking dinner or helping you with something in the house! I am open and flexible, but I am looking for hosts who are honest and caring and who would respect my presence as I would respect their home and personal space.
What else could I share.. some music!! - if you play any musical instruments, we could try to make some music! :)
