Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people and really LEARN about their beautiful lives/culture, rather than just passing through
ABOUT ME
I'm an eternal student, always wanting to learn. I'm still looking for my place in this world (do we ever stop? Let's not!), and I'm hoping to find it through losing myself (cheeseball again!).
I'm introverted, but have a huge passion for getting to know others, learning what they're all about. Because people are awesome!
PHILOSOPHY
To know much and experience much (working on that one...)!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. How exciting!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't couchsurfed myself, but a roommate has hosted some people in our house, and it was a pretty neat experience! They were all incredible people with wonderful stories.
Interests
Travel (obviously), reading, learning, crafts (knitting, crocheting, sewing. Need a toque? I can sort ya!).

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a bit eclectic, but we like what we like, right? Really into indie/alternative music currently, particularly Canadian artists (read: Mother Mother, Said The Whale, The New Pornographers). I love comedy, particularly of the British persuasion, but I have this thing for pirates, too. I'm a varied and voracious reader; I've spent the last few months getting to know P.G. Wodehouse, but am getting back on a David Sedaris kick!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I grew up in South Africa, and have traveled the country extensively. My favourite experience: standing on the tip of Cape Point on a clear day, and seeing the line where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. We are so small, and the world so amazing...
