About Me
Back on couchsurfing after a couple of years of not using the platform.
I'm easy to get along with. About 80% of the time, I'm super open and bubbly in conversations. During the other 20%, I lean more towards introversion and quiet observation. I laugh, dance and explore a lot. PhD student life can be a bit stressful so I'm happy to get out and meet new people whenever possible. Living vegan is close to my heart.
I like radical honesty, exploring the self and learning about patterns in behaviour. I really value science and data but would also never dismiss intuition. I frequently talk about dreams because pretty crazy stories unfold in mine. Sharing ideas is fun and long form conversations are becoming even more important to me as I see people's attention span shrinking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I surfed some great cushion bearing waves in New Zealand, India, the Netherlands... an utterly rewarding experience: information flowing, experiences being shared and deep connections being made! Particularly in India, couchsurfing allowed for unique insights into the culture and for the opportunity to get rid of several prejudices. I look forward to the day that I will have my own spacious home, to return the kindness and generosity that I have received.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surrounded by my Australian friends, I witnessed the total solar eclipse at the gathering in the Oregon Prairies and I watched Alex Grey paint this spectacular phenomenon.
In a river just beyond the valley where a rainbow gathering in Tasmania took place, I spotted a platypus. At noon, which is not the usual time for them to be active - and whilst wearing a shirt, on which I had drawn a platypus.
Going back to Australia for an abroad semester was fantastic!
