About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To dance often and much. :)

ABOUT ME

Love to talk about life pathways. After I feel complete with dance, I could really seriously see myself becoming a teacher. It's interesting to speak with people who believe in some kind of fate, destiny or higher logic to everything in the world. I don't like the thought that there is nothing better or bigger than us. There has to be something more.

PHILOSOPHY

"Nothing is impossible and nothing is easy...except being an imbecile." -my wonderful neighbor

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Les Miserables, Eugene Onegin, Flowers for Algernon. I really like books by neurologist Oliver Sacks...if you have recommendations about books that make you really wonder about mankind, let me know.

Films: Amadeus, Empire Records, Speed

Music: It's embarrassing...really embarrassing but I like the kind of music that my sophisticated music snob friends would scoff at...MTV variety. A lot of cheesy stuff is fun to dance to and I pretty much like anything that you can dance to. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying with a a saintly female monk in a Buddhist monastery in Seoul, South Korea and learning and observing some very particular sungmu ceremonial chants and dances. The monks there were so kind and so welcoming...when I got back to New York, I was still in that whole routine of hustle and bustle, but every once in a while I remember the peace and calm of the temple.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well one of the oddest things I love to do is listen to people's aspirations and dreams...and give them advice about how to pursue them. ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Haiti, Slovenia, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kosovo, United States
