Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I began to Couchsurf for the first time on this trip, so far I have just surfed but had great experiences. I hope have the world come to my doorstep when I return home and begin hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far each host has been different, but engaging in their own way. From staying with families to sitting up late talking over beers with non-hosts, every couchsurfing venture has been a valuable experience.

Interests

Ultimate Frisbee is the embodiment of my life. I enjoy spirited competition against generally interesting people. In my more quiescent moments I enjoy reading, writing, playing chess, photography, and philosophizing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrises, sunsets, and stars generally leave me awestruck. As I learned in Morocco, "Berber Television" (the night sky) is never the same and can keep one awestruck for hours - over the Himalayas, Adriatic Sea, canyons of Utah, Sahara Desert, or just in my own backyard.
