CURRENTLY traveling in Mexico until the end of July.

I teach 5 and 6 year olds in Hawaii. I like to travel and experience new things on my breaks from work. The ocean is my passion...swim, surf, scuba, snorkel and more. However, I enjoy being on land as well, like hiking and camping. Good conversation, new cultures, and FOOD are some of the things I like most about travel.

My favorite part of travel is meeting new people and hearing their stories or perspectives. I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do this.

I love the atmosphere when there's live music. Books are my escape. Have you read "Beneath a Scarlet Sky"?! It's a historical-ficiton, page-turner! I also loved "What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding." It's a hilarious travel memoir filled with inspiration and life advice.
