About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fistfight with Zeus, followed by camaraderie and imperial stout.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the cold hot Minnesota suburbs, lived in Minneapolis for a while, and in fall 2012 moved to the UK. I like snobby nineteenth-century music and contemporary mathy underground punk. I like reading books, biking, visiting cities, having conversations, drinking and eating new and exciting things, trying to talk in other languages, analysing books and movies and poems and debating most things. I like learning new ways to think of things, but I like to do it grudgingly. But I still like new friendly people, and oftentimes grudging, cynical ones too.
I like camping and the outdoors a lot too but I'm something of a novice. I'll hike two miles through the woods to get to a campsite with poorly-tied pans banging against my knee the whole way and still have a good time, but I would have a better time if I knew what I was doing.

PHILOSOPHY

More weird times yield more good stories
