One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tel Aviv, Israel for two nights: We board a city bus. It was headed in the opposite direction of our destination. At the last stop the bus parks, the driver gets out, and starts peeing on the side of the road. We have no choice but to join him. He spoke only Russian and we didn't, but we were brought closer by the need to relieve ourselves.
Arriving at my host's place in Philadelphia with my roommate, we find that they were having a party. The house was so old that there was a grave with headstone in the backyard, which of course a drunk kid would try to dig up. Strange times but epic party.
Everyone, please have parties when you know a couch surfer is arriving, it's a great way to welcome someone haha.
