About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To leave as much of an impression on the world as it has on me.
ABOUT ME
I am soon embarking on a bicycle adventure breaking twenty-two years of living in a single place, sitting through what some dub education, and working jobs so I can maintain my day to day routine. You could say that taking a bicycle to anywhere sounds more than a little appealing to me. On this trip I plan on making the most of my five months off, and taking in as much as my country has to offer, including meeting fellow CSers! I would be more than happy to sit down to have lunch if you find me in your area where we can exchange a story or two.
PHILOSOPHY
While growing up is inevitable, I feel like there should always be a sense of child-like wonder in the things we observe around us. Fiscal responsibility (aka adulthood) creates a great blind spot in the events that lead up to a fuller and happier life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Going on this trip to DC I hope to bring a lot of laughs and to partake in the great exchange of experience. I love learning through a new point of view and wish to deliver the same.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Bloomington, Indiana marked my first CS experience and boy will it be hard to beat. My gracious hosts invited me for a roadtrip and my first visit to Chicago. From there we had pizza, beer, throwing rocks into great Lake Michigan, and seeing the Chicago skyline from atop of a mutual friend's apartment complex.
Interests
I'm always looking to be taught new crafts, and more than happy to teach you something if there's something that sparks your interest. I enjoy climbing, creating my possessions from scratch, experiencing and playing music, swimming, screen printing, biking, rolling down grassy hills, swinging, and film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode 2500+ miles from Sandusky, OH to the oasis that is Austin, TX. From point A to B I met the most down to earth people that flipped my view of humanity on its head. Before I found it easy to stereotype or profile, but getting to sit down with hundreds of people on this quest really opened my eyes to each individual's great depth. The experience changed my life in countless ways.
