About Me

Willing to try anything twice.

I reflect the energies and personalities I'm surrounded by, so if you're shy and quiet, I'll be the same, but if you're loud and talkative, well then we'll have a good night!

No judgement. No negativity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like that this is a volunteer network of meeting strangers. I've had such great connections on couchsurfing and I always look forward to finding new strangers to connect with.

Interests

Everything art (festivals, TV, theatre, music, books, etc), cooking, and travel related. I have an unhealthy obsession with cooking shows, TED talks, and live music.

Obsessed with tattoos, not so much piercings, really like talking (I can spend all night learning about your life and the things you've done and the things you regret and if you ask me, I'll spend the rest of the night telling you my own stories).

Music, Movies, and Books

My interest varies but I find I fall into jazz and rock the most. Also lots of musicals. Lots and lots and lots.

Films I've seen a little too many times:
The Beach, Into The Wild, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Blue Lagoon, Ruby Sparks, American Beauty, Wes Anderson and Tim Burton-directed movies, Carrie, Gigi, Guys and Dolls, The Last Five Years, Moulin Rouge, Almost Famous (again lots of musicals)

Books:
Medical Thriller/ Suspense (Tess Gerritsen), behavioural economics, Orwell, Absurd Fiction books, etc. I'm mad about Alice in Wonderland. I've read the book countless times and watched all movies, including the original 10-minute short.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friends and I stayed in a remote island near Palawan, Philippines with just a local fisherman and his wife and 2 kids for 4 days. We had to go harpoon fishing to eat for the day, we slept on the sand, we had no shower or electricity or phone signal, we woke up and swam with the fishes in the clear water; it was the best fucking experience.

Packed my bags and stayed in Croatia for a month, it was a dream!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love life and love learning, so I try my hand at everything..

it's not where you go, it's who you're with. Good company always places number 1 in my list.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Loads of stories, loads of lessons, a spontaneous night.

I'm on here not to act as a free hotel service or to get that, I truly value the exchange of cultures and the kind act that is letting a stranger into your home. I'll let you know right now that if your values coincide with the couchsurfing community, then you're the person to host/surf with me. I don't want just a place to sleep at night, I want to exchange stories and get to know you.
