ABOUT ME

I'm an English teacher working in Tokyo :) I graduated from university with a degree in History. I did my CELTA certificate and now I can travel and teach anywhere in the world :)

I'm a very relaxed guy who enjoys the easy life where possible. I can promise you a stress-free stay :)

I am very open minded and accept anyone regardless of gender, race or their sexuality. If you're not LGBT friendly, my home is not for you.

COUCHSURFING Experience

Hosted many people from all over the world and made some amazing freinds in the progress. This website is truly the best thing on the Internet, I've also surfed a few times too. No negative experiences so far!!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars trilogy (original ofc), The Notebook, Good Will Hunting, Amelie, Oldboy, Infernal Affairs, Independance Day, American Pie, The Godfather trilogy, Ong-Bak and gahhh I could go on forever so I shall stop there and just say I'm pretty much partial to every film genre.

Now TV shows, I watch a lot and chances are if the show was released in the last 10 years I have probably watched it, some of my favourites include The Sopranos, The Wire, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, 24, House, Dexter, Mad Men, One Tree Hill, Rome, Entourage, Deadwood and The Tudors.

I spend so much time watching films and TV shows music sadly doesn't get much of a lookin but I tend to listen to Indie and rock music and some favs include Paramore, Linkin Park, Kasabian, Bullet For My Valentine, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. I have a freind who loves going to gigs so I tend to follow him for my musical kicks.

Reading books is pretty much a daily occurence due to the nature of my course but books I loved include The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (trilogy is just fantastic), The Bourne Trilogy, The Thrawn Trilogy, The Notebook, I Am Legend and most recently I read all four a Song of Fire and Ice books (Game of Thrones) and I loved them!
