I am a pretty regular guy (whatever that means) living in Austin, Texas. I think I'm pretty friendly and always like meeting new people from new places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a bunch of couchsurfers when I lived in Scotland, and surfed a lot when I backpacked Europe this past fall. Had great experiences meeting great people both times.

Music- Mostly rock/blues, but I'm known to listen to rap or classical or some other stuff that can't really be classified from time to time

Movies- The Coen brothers do some good stuff and I like Wes Anderson movies. But then again, I like a good number of movies where I don't have to think.

Books- My favorite author is David Foster Wallace. My (latest) favorite book is Blood Meridian. I'm open to suggestions if there's anything out there I should read.
