About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see it all. And maybe have a beer or two in the process.
ABOUT ME
My ideal day of traveling involves a strong cup of coffee in the morning (and hopefully a shower), putting my camera, ipod, and passport into my backpack, and setting off to explore a new city... hopefully with a friend or two, and ideally involving either sports, a beach, or live music. That sort of day doesn't happen as often as I like, but hey, I gotta work on a college student budget here...
I have been known to spend hours on Wikipedia or Wikitravel, both on a good night. I don't require a lot out of life, I am a pretty easy-going and laid back guy.
PHILOSOPHY
I'd like to live in a place where everyone has a passport, and uses it at least once a year. I enjoy the fact that no matter where you go, and no matter how different people seem on the surface or how different their belief system and way of life is from your own, people are people and everyone generally wants the same things. Blah blah.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just surfing at the up until now, but I'm looking forward to hosting soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love the idea of a couch surfing- when I travel, I always try to meet people from the area I am visiting, and it isn't easy to do that. Cities are more than the sights you take pictures of, the people in a city are what really gives the city character.
Interests
Spicy food, street food, local drinks, travelling stories. Any live sports, any live music- and taking photos so I don't have to dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll read just about any non-fiction and watch any documentary someone recommends. I'm more picky about music... but if it's live, I'm there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I shattered my collarbone by falling off a motorscooter on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere in Cambodia- two days before Christmas. That was cool.
