Most people think I'm a pretty alright dude. I love talking about dumb books and dumb history and stuff. I'm also a little self-conscious about talking about smart people stuff so I always preface it with the word dumb before I start talking about it. Also, I grew up in a family that was kind of Hindu so I'm mostly vegetarian but definitely not annoying about it and eat chicken and seafood sometimes.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Decided to work remotely in Rio for the summer and looking to hang out with people that like internet memes and too much beer. Also looking to improve my Portuguese, happy to exchange for practicing French/English (or I guess Gujarati if anyone cares) if anyone is into that too. I've always been completely fascinated by Brazil and Brazilian culture. My dad used to spend a lot of time there when I was a kid and played MPB in the car all the time. I later discovered Tropicalia, love Os Mutantes, Tom Zê, Caetano Veloso etc...

I like beer? A lot? Ummm, I like other stuff too though sometimes? I'm pretty well always into going and seeing new bands. When I was younger I used to be really into shoegaze and post-punk stuff but lately I'm getting lazy and listening to a lot of top 40 country and european club pop. I also like talking bullshit about history and politics too and learning about what other people know and have to say.

My mom forced me to learn how to cook when I was like 10 so I'm pretty killer in the kitchen, especially when it comes to Indian food. Always happy to buy groceries and beer obv if you put me up.
