About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet other people with the travel bug.

ABOUT ME

I've done a bit of traveling and enjoy the traveling buzz. I'm looking to meet and connect to new people and enjoy stories of experiences and cultures from other parts of the globe, and to share views on the state of this planet earth. I LOVE to have a laugh and have a good chat...
I try to expand my experiences in life,on some level, every day. It's amazing the things that can zoom right past us without a second thought.
I embrace and appreciate life's small pleasures and treasures. I enjoy traveling immensely. My favorite way to see the world is to is with the flip of a coin. No planning it out. Just take off and see what type of new adventure pops up...... i.e.

My friend Duck and I were in Holland. The options were; go to Germany or go to France.... While at the ticket counter in the train station and with the teller watching in disbelief, we fliped a coin to make this decision........
Viola, I had already been to France but it was nice to refresh my memmory....
Plus, Duck had never seen Paris ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Are you living or just breathing?

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. Sun rise in YellowStone Park with dew on every blade of grass. Driven through the highest roads in N America. Sunrise at the Grand Canyon. Road a horse the bottom... and a raft a few miles through the white water. Cliff diving in Oklahoma. Jumped ATV's, cars and anything else that will get the proper speed. Snowboaded in Colorado. Busted my ass in the terrain park.
Spent time alone in Guatamala just thinking. Fished in the crystal clear waters off the coast of Mexico. Road a train by Lake Balaton, located in Hungary, in Jan while the 47mi long lake was frozen. Slept in a tent outside of Venice, Italy. Spent the day walking around the Colosseum in Rome. Hiked the mountains of the Italian Riviera. Watched the hookers "do there thing" in Amsterdams Red Light District. Drank Cognac and OJ out of a gallon jug ,with a bunch of French guys ,on the subway in Paris. Humbled by the millions of people buried in the catacombs beneith Paris. Spent time in countless museums and churches. Saw amazing works of art ... My FAV:The Pieta by Michelangelo which in inside the Vatican. Got lost in Croatia but flirted with a local girl in a pastry shop at the train station while waiting for the next train. Got the shit scared outta me by a bunch of German military who boarded the train at 3AM checking passports. Had "Smoothhound" for dinner on the coast by Slovania. Drank to much Absenth. Found my new favorite drink the Hungarian, Foralt Bor.
Walked around lost for hours and hours and LOVED EVERY SECOND!
