Présentation
À propos de moi
Hello I'm Akane from Japan.
I love travelling and have been to 56 countries so far. And I used to live in Melbourne, Australia for a year....
my personality is...friendly, curious, positive 😊
I'd like to make friends all over the world, bringing everyone together and enjoying different cultures and people.
I'd love to have a chat with people from other countries and share our opinions to explore the world.
I'm always up to grab some beers and make new friends 😃
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
My friends told me about Couchsurfing and the great experiences they had being part of it. I wanted to experience it myself! I'd like to get to know people from different cultures and backgrounds, and learn from their experiences.
I have done quite a lot of travelling myself, but now I want to gain a new perspective. I'd like to learn how to live like a local, from locals.
Also, I'd like to one day share Japanese culture and lifestyle with my fellow travellers :)

I like TV series such as Friends, Gossip Girl, 24 and Prison break.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I have taken 2 cruises around the world for 3.5 months each visiting a total of 35 wonderful countries. It was a great experience and have amazing memories from those times.
When I travelled in Nepal I trekked for 5 days in the Himalayas. I was so impressed by the beauty of the nature and people living there.
I scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef. Seeing the underwater world I was amazed by the diversity and all the colours.
I lived and worked in Melbourne, Australia for 1 year. It was great to experience such a different culture from mine. Always full of art, music and beautiful cafes.
I climbed Mount Fuji - the tallest mountain in Japan. It was my first time climbing a mountain. Seeing the sunrise from up there was unforgettable.
