Overview
About Me
I grew up in several places in and around India (Delhi, Gujarat, Kathmandu).
Currently staying and working as a techie in Bangalore.
I like parks, dogs, running and rock climbing. Don't hesitate to ask me if you want to go bouldering in Bangalore.
I also play guitar on a semi-regular basis, but don't assume that I'm any kind of rockstar just yet. :D
And finally,
I would highly appreciate if you could include the link to your Facebook or other social profile in your request. I do have a life-insurance policy, but I wish to not use it at the moment :p
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like most people here, I like to know the differences and discover the similarities between various cultures.
I have not travelled extensively, but whenever I do, I find fellow travellers to be the most open-minded and interesting people.
I like how Trevor Noah sums it up saying - "You never waste money travelling".
I think travelling gives you perspective, and people should always try exploring and seekint-out other interesting peoples and ideas. Couchsurfing is one such community, where I think I can connect with interesting people and know about their diverse experiences and opinions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm a fan of 60s rock (Led Zepelling, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd), EDM and Hip-hop. Also, I'm into Punjabi music, so yeah.
Movie genres: Crime/thriller, drama, black comedy, biography/history, sport etc
Some examples: The King's Speech, The Godfather (1 and 2 :p), The Boy in Striped Pajamas ;-(, Inglorious Basterds, The Pursuit of Happiness, Chak-de India (watch it if you haven't already!)
Books: My favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi and scientific non-fiction. My favorite authors are Isaac Asimov, Douglas Adams, George RR Martin, Siddarth Mukherjee, etc. I loved Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen also. Mostly anything that is thought-provoking, without being sappy (I prefer to cry only for movies based on Nicholas Sparks novels).
