Overview
About Me
Originally from Mumbai, India. I spent two years studying for my Masters degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Belgium and Germany, after which I took a few months off to learn German and mainly look for a job. Love to travel to different countries, try their cuisines, learn about their culture and historical significance. I also try the odd hand to learn different languages as I believe that languages and food are the two ways to a person's heart. Currently based in the lovely and historic city of Ieper (Ypres) in Belgium.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Could really do with some help when it comes to accommodation when I travel to different places so that I could spend more with regards to travelling, food, museums, etc. In return, I hope I could also return the favor in the same way, some day in the future. Also, it always pays to have some nice company with you when you're in a new place

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in places that played an infamous part during the World Wars: Leuven (The Blitzkrieg destroying the town hall and most of the 'Grote Markt' area), Dresden (the Dresden bombing of WWII) and Ieper (poison gas & last holding line of the British empire in WWI)
Teach, Learn, Share
Having lived in 4 countries; visited a few others, I have learnt quite a few interesting things (historic especially). I could share my experiences and we could also indulge in a discussion about history, culture, food (!) and maybe even science if you're into that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, of course. I love to cook and I could share some insight into simple Indian cooking (and maybe other cuisines too). I just moved into a new place, so I am arranging my furniture- after which I can share my living room in my apartment :)
