My name is Akash and was born and grew up in India.
I have recently startrd travelling alot around beautiful India and have met many amazing travellers from all around the world who have inspired me to travel outside India to explore different cultures.
In my spare time I like to listen to music and have recently started practicing Yoga. I make macrame and have been learning how to spin Poi in the last year in Bhagsu, Mcleodganj, North India.
I am interested in natural living and learning how to be sustainable without dependence on society.
I like to cook and want to share my Indian cooking with the world! My mum taught me how to cook healthy, balanced Indian food and I try and teach her Western food haha!!
I'm easy going and I want to enjoy life with total awareness and being conscious about my actions. I want to spread joy and happiness.
I want to share my experiences with all beings and i believe i can learn something from every being i meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favourite part about travelling is meeting locals. When I am visiting Dharamshala which I do regularly I enjoy the sights but mostly I enjoy talking with locals, randomly meeting locals who invite me for dinner or just observing the culture and how they live!
I don't want to stay in hotels because from a hotel I will only see your culture from the outside. I want to fully experience and learn from you and your culture from the inside! so lets share some stories :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job in IT and went for travel all over Europe, south and central America. Returned home after two years. While travel’s i was doing Indian cooking classes. When i got back to India i started a Neopolian Pizza project
