ABOUT ME

Hello to everyone! I am from Catalonia and I live in the beautiful city of Barcelona right now.

I like doing a lot of different stuff, I like museums, art, reading, and I am not really following any TV show, but I have some favorite TV series like Star Gate or Big Bang Theory. I also like playing board games, role games, watching movies and hanging out at a coffee or restaurant with friends.

I'm quite easy-going and talkative, I really like history and politics a lot and I apply my knowledge about these areas when I guide foreigners through the city.

I live with my husband Dany, he's Mexican, and we try to spend as much time as possible together. He's really into cuisine and can show you some amazing Mexican dishes. I love his way of cooking. He also loves languages and used to work as a teacher for a long time. You could practice with both of us your Spanish or Catalan or any other language we're able to communicate in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to Couchsurfing but I've experienced the spirit of it while travelling and liked it a lot. That is why I decided to join and start getting more experience. I also see a great opportunity to make new friends and learn from people.

To work in Ethiopia and help to the improvement of an entire regional health system.
To drive from Madrid to Benin (yes, I crossed Gibraltar Strait with my car in a ferry).
To visit 50 countries before I got 30 years old.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like teaching and learning science topics as well as history.
I'm crazy about maps.
I like sharing my culture and city highlights with people.
I'm very interested in promoting understanding between people.
I'd like to learn some art history as well as to improve languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually give visitors a comprehensive historical tour through Barcelona.
I love my city and I'm pleased to share Catalan culture with everybody.
