ABOUT ME

I love traveling, well poured pint of guiness, rugby, hiking, camping, and getting lost in a book with a good glass of wine next to a blazing fire. I want to see the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Just live. life is to short to be spent angry, so you need to dance your way through it. You have to learn from every experience, good or bad, and its how you deal with the hard times in life that define your character. i live for those few brief moments where you look around and think to yourself that everybody in the world should be doing this exact same thing....because at that moment, life is perfect

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed on my way from AZ-CO and it was a ton of fun, always willing to host if i'm able, as long as you don't mind dogs!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up in a very inviting home. My dad always invited people over, whether it was just for dinner or overnight. We got to meet so many incredible people and now have friends all over the world.

Interests

I'll try everything 3.6 times...just to make sure i like/dislike it.
Last year I got scuba certified up in Alaska, it was freezing, but amazing. I've always loved the water but actually being able to explore the bottom opened up a whole new obsession.
i really want to go sky diving, maybe learn how to spin fire, get better at my hula hoop, and longboard.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: anything by Dan Brown, Calvin & Hobbes, Good Omens; the nice and accurate prophecies of agnes nutter, witch, The Book of Awesome, historical fiction, metaphysics, philosophy, theology.

Music: anything and everything. My Ipod ranges from modest mouse, MGMT, adele, bob marley, interpol, sweating honey, spice girls, temptations, citizen cope, eve 6, tech9ne, tupac, rascal flatts. I'm always open to new suggestions. Couldn't imagine life without music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've done was packing everything I owned into my car to leave my hometown in Alaska and go live in a city where I had never been before and didn't know anyone.

It's also tied with last summer living in the outskirts of a small town in AK outside Denali and living with one of my best friends in a same 2 room cabin w/ no electricity or water. I met people from all over the world and got to spend every day waking up to the beautiful vast expansion of Alaskas backwoods.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what I have to teach, I love to talk, share stories, and learn from others. I know 1.5 tricks on my hoop I can teach you....I'm working on expanding my repertoire. I'm also really good at Jenga and Apples to Apples.
