Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Akech and my friends would describe as outgoing, friendly and adventurous. Currently, i'm working as a events coordinator for individuals with Developmental Disabilities and i absolutely love it. I'm also studying to become a psychiatric nurse; and looking forward to being able to practice.
As much as i love school, i also love travelling. Nothing brings me more joy than meeting various individuals with different cultures and languages from my own. I haven't done all that much travelling, but i hope to do more in the future. My hope and dream is to combine my love of medicine and travelling by running clinics for NGOs in third world countries. In the meantime, I try to go on short term trips whenever my work and school schedule allows!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Courchsurfing is a unique and awesome way to travel. Unlike staying in a hotel, you actually get to experience the language and culture of the country in which your travelling to first hand. On top of that, you get to meet and have conversations with like-minded individuals---individuals that refuse to be box in, but rather want to expand their horizons.
