About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be the trouble you want to see in the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty simple person. I have a little dog, she belongs with me, not to me. I have family and friends whom I love. I try to live as honestly and simply as possible. I'm 23 years old, medically retired from the Army with disability, a nanny, a teacher, a student, a poet, a friend. I'm up for whatever comes my way.
PHILOSOPHY
Live free-range.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The retired status from the Army gives me the wonderful opportunity to travel on standby flights. I wont know until just about when it's happening where I'll go or when, so I'm hoping winging it will work, it always seems to.I'm hoping for Europe mid-september, but it really could be anywhere.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Plenty among my friends, and best among newly made friends!
Interests
Playing and thinking and learning and reading. I love the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking. I love to get down and dirty on some beer-in-hand kickball or some ultimate frisbee. I like to play in the mud and fly through the sky. Whatever I'm doing, I'll enjoy it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything. If I can see it, I'll watch it. If I can hear it, I'll listen. And if it's been written down, well I'd just love to read it.
I love anything that's been done well. My favorite book is always the one in front of me, and you can bet it's a good one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just being here and alive is pretty amazing, isn't it?
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know that there is such a thing as a "life lesson learned." So I call what I have my "life lessons learning."
One of the things I find the most solace and joy in, is the similarity we all share. By all means, we are all unique beings, each one-of-a-kind. But the truly amazing thing to me, is what we all have in common. That we all share an existence, a wholly unlikely one, on this one little rock floating around an altogether fairly nondescript star. I take comfort in the fact that no matter how low I feel, no matter what events have transpired, however rare and strange, whether fortunate or not so, there is ALWAYS someone who can empathize with me. There is always someone who has been there, and made it. I am never truly alone.
