ABOUT ME

sometimes i just hop in my car (when it's working) and go for a drive. i love the feeling of being on the road and going somewhere comepletely foreign to me. i don't have a strict schedule or much of a game plan, but there's something about exploring which is so uncertain but freeing at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

new places and people to me means a better understanding of myself and the world. there's only so much textbooks and classrooms can teach...real learning or personal growth comes from actual experiences and being moved away from comfort zones.

in the early stages of getting used to couch surfing so i'm trying to make myself familiar and meet members

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met couchsurfing members. One time I picked up these two girls hitchhiking back home in Alaska and they were both couchsurfers too. I recently surfed in Rarotonga, Cook Islands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking on the Acropolis and seeing the entire city of Athens while being surrounded by ancient temples. I was very fortunate to have been able to go inside the Parthenon. They are currently restoring it and only let small groups inside who schedule in advance. To stand in an ancient historical site while viewing the modern world from a distance is something i'll never erase from my memory.
