My name is Akiko, 29 years old. I am originally from Japan and have been in the U.S for almost 4 years. I love playing watching basketball (prefer to watch college basketball than NBA but I like watching NBA too!). I have been playing basketball since 8 years old. I have played for a high school, college, semi-pro in Japan, and semi-pro in the U.S. I like sightseeing, eat, coffee, and so on.
I love eating too! (hahaha) I am a kind of person who tries new things. Since I live in Yuma Arizona now, I have got to eat many kinds of Mexican food and I like it a lot! I like coffee, and love the combination of black coffee & sweets/bread(pastry).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going to Germany from June to August for a basketball trip. I am trying to join a team in the 2. DBBL. My plan is to visit around teams in Berlin and in Würzburg.
So, I am looking for a place to stay in Berlin from June 5th to the end of July.
As well as in Würzburg from August 4th to 7th.
