Hi! I am Akmal! I am currently studying European Business Studies at Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration in Riga, Latvia. I love hiking, travelling, reading interesting books, having amazing conversations with people, coking and sport. I am originally from Uzbekistan but moved to Latvia in 2014 to begin my bachelor degree. So I am almost to get my double degrees!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think exchanging and meeting new cultures are very important to improve our understanding about different nations. However, due to globalization and presence of social media, real communication, meeting new people are getting less important. I don't want social media replace that. Thanks to couchsurfing, we can meet new people, exchange cultures and make our life more interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Study abroad! Last year I received an offer to do a double-degree with Kedge Business School in Bordeaux, France. Of course, it was really difficult to make a decision but I said-Yes!
I spent 1 year in a beautiful city Bordeaux and made lots of new friends!
