About Me
Is life a puzzle to be solved, or a mystery to be lived?
My name is Akoma, or better known as AkomaSpeaks on YouTube, and I'm a lifestyle artist ...
Not sure wtf that means?
No prob, I'll elaborate ...
Some artist paint, others sing; Akoma lives.
I was once told that life is nothing more than a blank canvas. Well if that's true, then I've set out to paint a masterpiece. No brushes, no easel; just decisions, actions, and experiences.
In case we never meet please remember these words, from me personally to you:
"You're dope, your contribution is vital, and things just wouldn't be the same if you weren't here."
With Love,
Akoma
P.S. No regrets, just stories ... #LiveNowDieFree

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In college I planned a peaceful protest march in response to the controversial murder of Trayvon Martin.
Surprisingly the event went viral around not only our campus, but the entire city. I landed on the front page of the school news paper, was interviewed by countless reporters around the city, and even received hate mail from critics who thought we were stepping out of our place.
The day of hundreds of students & activist flocked to the streets of our university, we were escorted by the local police department, and our protest March was broadcasted on every major news network in the city.
Long story short: an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
