About Me

I am a relatively fresh graduate from biochemical engineering, about to start work in Belgium (at the moment of writing at least). Fortunately I've had the chance and pleasure to travel before starting a career, so I can do so with more fulfillment.
I enjoy having discussions about all kinds of topics, lately I'm into psychology and ethics. I find them to be a more general talking point compared to my field of study, not considering a few little interesting facts that I learned considering everyday life (and I won't spoil them here :D ).
I am an enthisuastic cook/baker periodically. I like to try to make new stuff that catches my interest. I guess my studies had a lasting effect on me, since I also like to measure out everything in the process.
Most of my friends consider me a rather quiet and reserved person, although I noticed that I become considerably more social if I conduct a conversation in English. Also I think it might say a lot, that one of my biggest motivations of becoming more fluent in English is to be better at taking opportunities of making puns :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the summer of 2017 while I was visiting my brother in Spain near Gibraltar for 2 weeks, he took a lot of different couchsurfers during the second week. It was a really nice and new experience of meeting people from all over the world. Also I find the concept awesome, and I definitely plan to host as soon as I get my own place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently started reading psychology, and I also like some good science fiction books. I'm still searching for more.
Moviewise I like mostly dramas and scifis, which I find well made, with something deeper to convey. Lately I am starting to watch more documentaries, but most of the time just some series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I supported a monkey on the Rock of Gibraltar as a refuge for him after an older one chased him. See exhibt D in my photos. No monkeys were harmed in my presence ;)
